New Market Funds is a specialized fund manager that takes an integrated approach to deliver market competitive investment performance with long-term community benefit.
We combine extensive sector-based experience and relationships with a rigorous investment process to connect community need with investment capital.
NMF Rental Housing Fund invests in purpose-built, stabilized multi-family affordable rental housing in partnership with strong existing non-profit operators. The Fund’s innovative partnership approach unlocks attractive investment opportunities not otherwise available in the conventional market, delivering market competitive financial returns and long-term community benefit.
The Fund’s first four investment commitments total 358 rental units of family, workforce, elderly, and special needs housing, which are affordable on average to households earning 70% of the area median income. The Fund will provide approximately 9% of the $120 million combined value of the developments.
The Fund’s first close was achieved through the investment of leading institutions and families from across Canada. We thank all our investors for their support.
